Allergies... how I hate thee..
I went through about 18 or 19 years of my life without having allergies and LOVED it. I would see other people have them and feel horrible for them, esp. my dad because he gets them BAD. Then a couple of years ago, out the blue I started to feel HORRIBLE all the time! I thought I was sick but this "sickness" would only come in spurts, usually really early in the morning or late at night. And during the day I'd be fine. Also, the only things that were wrong with me were my nose would be stuffy or runny (or both, how that works, Idk), my throat would be on fire, my eyes itchy and watery and constant sneezing. Yeah, anyone else would have know it was allergies instantly, but since I'd never had them before I just thought it was a cold! Then one day my dad suggested that I take Claritin and it worked! I felt better instantly and to this day I tell people of how Claritin became my best friend that summer. The following year Claritin and I did not have that good of a relationship. It let me down COMPLETELY, and so I had to switch to Zyrtec, and oh man was it the best bff ever. This year, I feel abandoned again as Zyrtec was just not cutting it. I switched back to my old best friend and it's helped a little but not like it used to. I take it regularly and still feel horrible waaay too often. My throat is usually still on fire and I sneeze ALL THE TIME. Plus, and this is what I hate the most... my nose gets super STUFFY and I can't breathe, which I can handle during the day, but at NIGHT? oh man, I can't even sleep and that makes me all cranky and angry. Claritin my friend, why have you let me down? I've tried to give you a chance, but I think that I may have to go hunting for a new best friend soon, because I can't stand feeling like this any longer.
