Here we go again...

I finally fixed the last post which was supposed to have a picture of the Big Spoon Yogurt logo, which would then explain the title. To clarify things a bit Chris' new job is the Assistant Manager of the Big Spoon Yogurt in Dixon, with the possibility of moving up to general manager sometime in the future. The company is looking to expand to Woodland and Fairfield, and we're really hoping they'll expand to Fairfield so that Chris could possibly work there instead. Though in all actuality, the 20 minute drive to Dixon isn't all that bad either.

This week was his first full week there (though he's still training) and my first week back at school. I've only had two of my classes so far and though I know they won't be that bad, I am so ready to be done with the semester. However, when I really stop to think about it, finishing this semester is also quite scary. I'll be graduating this May and though I'm reallly excited about it, part of me is also really scared. What will I do? Where will I work? I mean sure I've made plans, but if there's anything I've learned in the past five years, (post high school) is that things don't always go as planned. Ergo, although I still kind of plan things I've been learning to just take things as they come. Because even though I may want some things, and even though those things could be good for me, they may not be what Heavenly Father wants for me. So, now I find myself not so much praying for the things that I want (and sometimes I feel I need) but instead praying for the peace and comfort with the things I have or are planned for me. That way, when things don't go my way, I won't stress and go crying to Chris (though I do, many a times, but then again, isn't that what husbands are for?) I will bravely accept them and carry on.
